New Digital Learning Opportunity for Day School Students

The Jewish Education project is excited to announce the launch of http://www.digitaljlearning.org/ , a new website created to support North American Jewish Day Schools exploring implementing online learning into their general studies classrooms. Online learning can enhance student knowledge through individualized instruction and might improve Jewish Day Schools by providing a potentially cost efficient alternative to the traditional educational model. Gary Rosenblatt discussed online learning and the new site on his blog in The Jewish Week, which you can read here:
The AviChai Foundation reached out to partner with us and JESNA (Jewish Education Service of North America) on this initiative due to our previous successes collaborating on digital learning and at the Jewish Futures Conference.
Judah Isaacs,The Jewish Education Project’s Director of Leadership and Sustainability in Day Schools and Bill Robinson, Chief Strategy Officer  - and Jonathan Woocher, Chief Ideas Officer of JESNA, launched the site on Sunday Night at the AviChai reception at the North American Jewish Day School Conference in Los Angeles. The conference is focusing on the “High Performance, High Tech Jewish Day School of the (Very Near) Future” and has over 600 attendees from across denominations.
